Role: Art Direction & Graphic Design
Context
Eco-conscious branding defaults to neutral and minimal, an aesthetic that reads as expensive and exclusive rather than accessible. For a brand targeting trend-driven youth, Restyl needed to compete with fast fashion on style and ethics.
Strategy
The identity blends expressive, design with an ethical core, proving the two aren’t in conflict. Targeted toward youth who value individuality, the brand treats recycled and thrifted materials as a creative advantage, not a constraint.
Outcome
The system spans a monthly magazine and a functional e-commerce site where users can buy reimagined pieces and donate materials back to makers, turning the brand touchpoints into active parts of the supply chain.
